Sainte Foy Ski Station

The exclusive resort of Sainte-Foy, known as the "Jewel in the Crown" of the Tarentaise, has a deceptively large ski area - with its own fabulously quiet pistes, extensive off-piste and also easy access to big-name resorts nearby.

Ste Foy ski area

Sainte Foy's own ski area has 26 pistes, 800 hectares of forests and high-altitude slopes. Don't be decieved by these reletively modest statisics! The potential for off-piste is huge, and severaal larger resorts are easily accessible nearby.

The family friendly resort of Sainte Foy is located at 1550m, with the highest lift reaching 2620m. Sainte Foy is known as the "best kept secret" in the area, where ski instructors from nearby Val d'Isere are most likely to spend their day off!

Mostly the slopes are uncrowded and the snow is in excellent condition, with powder often staying untracked for days after a snowfall.

Where you’ll be

Chalet Falcon is 25-45 mins drive from Val d'Isere, Tignes, Les Arcs, La Plagne and La Rosiere. Bourg-Saint-Maurice is the town down the valley where you will find 2 supermarkets, Super U and Intermarche. There are also 2 smaller stores in the resort that are open throughout the season.

Getting around

The chalet is wonderfully located, just seconds from the slopes in Sainte-Foy. It is possible to ski back to Chalet Falcon via the Retour Bataillettaz slope. There is also a convenient shuttle bus in peak season weeks taking you up the village for closer access to the first chairlift. Ski schools are available for both adults and children.

About Chalet Falcon

The accommodation has 3 double rooms and 2 twin rooms (can add an extra bed if needed). All en-suite bedrooms with balconies. There is also an extra double bedroom and bathroom in the basement. You will find a washing machine and a dryer in the basement bathroom also.

Off the slopes

In the village centre you will find all the facilities you need for an enjoyable ski holiday: ski hire, a well stocked supermarket, ski schools and creche facilities. A variety of bars and restaurants offer hospitality with a relaxed style and genuine French ambiance. Spa and beauty facilities are also available.
